Privacy Policy

Aragon Way Insurance is a licensed Property and Casualty insurance agency in the State of Florida (License No. L123150). This Privacy Policy is issued in part pursuant to applicable Florida insurance privacy statutes, including Sections 626.951 to 626.9641, Florida Statutes, and implementing rules, as well as the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA). It serves as our primary privacy disclosure covering both website data and nonpublic personal information collected in connection with our insurance agency activities.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Aragon Way, Inc., d.b.a. Aragon Way Insurance (“Aragon Way,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information obtained through https://aragonway.com and in connection with our insurance agency activities.

By using the Site or engaging with Aragon Way Insurance in connection with insurance products or services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes take effect upon posting an updated version with a revised effective date.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Policy covers two categories of information:

  • Website Information: Information collected through the Site, including through forms, chat tools, cookies, and text messaging communications.
  • Nonpublic Personal Information (NPI): Information collected in connection with your inquiry about, application for, or receipt of insurance products or services through Aragon Way Insurance, including information from applications, communications, third-party sources, and transaction records.

Where this Policy applies to a specific category, we note that distinction. Where no distinction is noted, the provisions apply to both.

2. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide Directly

You may provide information when you submit a contact, inquiry, or quote request form; communicate through chat or support tools; apply for or inquire about insurance products or services; establish or service an insurance account or policy; request text message communications; or otherwise voluntarily interact with us.

Information you provide may include your name, address, date of birth, email address, phone number, driver’s license number, Social Security number, business information, financial information, property information, claims history, and other information relevant to your insurance needs.

Important: You should not submit highly sensitive information, including Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or health information, through general web forms or chat tools except where expressly requested as part of a secure quote or application process. We are not responsible for the security of sensitive information submitted outside of a designated secure process.

B. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical and usage information including device type, browser type, IP address, pages visited, time spent on pages, and general interaction data, using cookies and similar technologies. C. Information from Third-Party Sources

In connection with our insurance agency activities, we may receive information from:

• Insurance carriers, managing general agents (MGAs), wholesalers, and underwriting facilities through which we place or service coverage;
• Consumer reporting agencies, including credit reporting agencies and insurance scoring providers;
• Motor vehicle record providers and other public record sources;
• Claims administrators and loss history databases;
• Other sources as permitted by applicable law or as you may authorize.

D. Information from Technology and Service Partners

In connection with our cyber insurance and technology-related lines of business, we may receive information about your organization’s technology environment, risk profile, or security posture from technology partners, managed service providers (MSPs), technology advisors (TAs), value-added resellers (VARs), and similar parties, where such information is relevant to quoting, placing, or servicing coverage.

E. Data Enrichment

We may supplement the information you provide or that we receive in connection with an insurance transaction with information obtained from third-party data sources, public records, technology risk assessment tools, and commercial data providers. This enrichment may be used to assess risk, verify information, improve the accuracy of our records, or support underwriting. We do not use enriched data for purposes unrelated to the insurance services we provide.

3. How We Use Information

We use information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries, quote requests, and applications;
  • Establish, service, and administer insurance policies and accounts;
  • Communicate with you about coverage, renewals, claims, and account matters;
  • Evaluate and support the underwriting of insurance risks placed through us;
  • Supplement and verify information through third-party data sources as described above;
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, misrepresentation, and other improper activity;
  • Analyze and improve the performance and functionality of our Site;
  • Send marketing and promotional communications about insurance products and services, where you have consented or where permitted by applicable law;
  • Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations, including those imposed by Florida insurance laws and regulations;
  • Maintain records required by law, regulation, or for legitimate business purposes.
4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your nonpublic personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • Insurance Carriers and Underwriters: We share information necessary to quote, bind, issue, service, and renew policies with insurance carriers, MGAs, wholesalers, surplus lines insurers, reinsurers, and underwriting facilities through which we place or service coverage.
  • Service Providers and Business Partners: We may share information with third-party vendors and service providers assisting us in operating our business and the Site, including technology service providers, managed service providers, technology advisors, value-added resellers, claims administrators, premium finance companies, analytics providers, communications platforms, and similar parties engaged to perform services on our behalf or in connection with your account.
  • Consumer Reporting and Verification: We may share or exchange information with consumer reporting agencies, motor vehicle record providers, insurance scoring services, and similar third parties as part of underwriting and risk evaluation, as permitted by applicable law.
  • Legal and Regulatory Compliance: We may disclose information as required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental or regulatory request, including requests from the Florida Department of Financial Services, the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation, or other applicable authorities.
  • Fraud Prevention: We may share information with law enforcement, regulatory agencies, fraud-prevention organizations, and other insurance industry participants to detect, investigate, or prevent fraud or misrepresentation.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to a successor entity, subject to confidentiality obligations.
  • With Your Consent: We may share information for other purposes with your explicit consent.

Non-Affiliated Third Parties: Your Opt-Out Right: To the extent required by applicable Florida insurance privacy statutes and the GLBA, you have the right to opt out of the sharing of your nonpublic personal information with non-affiliated third parties for purposes other than those described above. We do not currently share NPI with non-affiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes. If that practice changes, we will provide you with advance notice and a reasonable opportunity to opt out before doing so.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as we consider reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to maintain your insurance account, comply with applicable legal and regulatory record retention requirements, resolve disputes, and maintain business records. Florida insurance regulations may require us to retain certain records for specified minimum periods. When information is no longer needed, we take steps to dispose of it in a manner designed to protect against unauthorized access or disclosure.

8. Security

We employ measures we consider appropriate to help protect the information we collect from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse. No data transmission over the internet or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be fully secure. We make no warranty that the information you transmit will remain secure in all circumstances. 9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence and the nature of your relationship with us, you may have certain rights, including:

• The right to request access to personal information we hold about you;

• The right to request correction of inaccurate information;

• The right to request deletion of personal information, subject to applicable legal and regulatory retention requirements;

• The right to opt out of sharing of nonpublic personal information with non-affiliated third parties for marketing purposes, as described in Section 4;

• The right to file a complaint with the Florida Department of Financial Services, the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation, or other applicable state regulatory authorities regarding our privacy practices.

California Residents: California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA and CPRA with respect to personal information collected through the Site. To the extent required by applicable California law, we will endeavor to accommodate reasonable requests.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes take effect upon posting an updated version with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Site or engagement with our services after any update constitutes acceptance.
